Cooley Early Childhood Development Center offers quality early learning programs to fit the interests and schedules of all families. Brilliant Beginnings is available for children ages 3-4. We will also offer a Kindergarten Prep program for children ages 4-5 and our Developmental Preschool program.
Classes are taught by certified early childhood educators.
Available for children with special needs who qualify for services. Contact the school of your choice for qualifying details.
Available for children ages 3-4 who are potty-trained. Students develop a love of learning through play-based activities.
Available for children ages 4-5 who are ready to prepare for kindergarten.

Our Namesake: Elona P. Cooley
Elona P. Cooley was born on April 9, 1921 in Mesa, Arizona. Her mother was a school teacher, and her family owned the land that became Cooley Middle School and the Elona P. Cooley Early Childhood Development Center. A passionate supporter of education, Elona and her husband and former Mesa Mayor Eldon Cooley, served the community in developing leadership and life skills in local youth. Elona passed away peacefully on November 12, 2022 at the age of 101. She and her family leave a lasting legacy throughout the Phoenix East Valley.
